Mehame church of Christ is located in a Mehame community in the Asutifi south district of Ahafo Region of Ghana.

The church was established by Dadiesoaba church of Christ in the year (2001) and started with a membership of twelve (12).

Currently, the church has an average membership of about ninety-seven (97) of which fifty-one (51) are adults, seven (7) aged, twelve (12) youth, and about twenty-seven (27) are children. The church has a permanent place of worship.

The average weekly giving of the church is ninety Ghana cedis (GHC90.00.)  we used to have more youth in the church but due to education and job opportunities, most of them have left to the cities hence affecting the growth of the church at Mehame.

My name is Evangelist James Owusu Mensah, (59) years of age, married with seven (7) children and I am the preacher for Mehame church of Christ since (2011.)

The financial position of the church is very week and therefore they are unable to support the preacher financially. This is why I applied for support from RGM.

I have been on RGM support for about (2) years. I have been receiving monthly top-up allowance which supports me as I lead the church in such a financially week and deprived church.

I really appreciate the support I received from RGM on monthly basis.  I will like to thank the management of Rescue Ghana Mission for such initiative and more to those who donate in cash and kind to support rural preachers like me God bless you all.
